{quote} good luck mate, seems to have caught a bid....one thing that concerns me in that instance is failure of the engulf to follow through and take out the top of the first bear bar, which sometimes makes it look like a flag, not sure if its something to be concerned with, but something I was just pondering with a set up I'm in now that's similar... {image}

Hi All, I have written an indicator that I am currently testing that plots up/down arrows when it identifies the 3-bar patterns that FXCyborg has identified we trade off. For all the 6 trades that FXC showed in his opening post it captures all 6 of the setup bars . See all the images below showing the setup bars FXC traded off in the initial example trades he provided. I will make it available to all that want it as soon as I have completed testing it (but to not block up this thread I will make it available...

FXCyborg, At first I was going to email you. I rarely email anyone. There are a lot of good traders on FX and I've found a few and keep them close, but it didn't happen by me emailing everyone. That comes from reading, learning, listening and paying close attention. These days I rarely trade majors. I trade exotics. I wouldn't know support and resistance on eurusd without a couple hours of back crawling the charts. Ergo, I'm having trouble trading this one on eurusd. Just off. In my disappointment I went back to my beloved usdmxn. You see, I've...

Dear Cyborg, appreciate all the efforts of you.

I was about to say it, as I see those QM's in line with your methodology.
Don't want to say things which are not in line with the thread, as I belief more gems are to come in this thread.

Again, appreciated for all your efforts

I don't like the disproportionate size of the last two bull bars. It's not a perfect setup but can be considered. What do you say FXCyborg? Thanks for your great contributions.

USDCHF 5mins: I love the 5mins setup. Waiting for a retest of the first horizontal line and I'd get in on a sell.

Hello To FXCyborg and mates

I have a question: What is the guideline, to follow, and conclude that the market is in accumulation? I have noticed at times, that some traders will show 3 candles and a trading zone, in what looks like an up or down trend.

Am I supposed to qualify setups only, when the market is ranging or check the high and low of the day, or say if the market has been rising making higher highers( assuming I can see lower low as well), should I focus on trade setups when market is making lower highers and higher lows?.

Kind Regards

Abzozo

Hey First of all its a nice thread.
Normally im not a fan of normal Chart-Technik, because its to interpretionable.

But in this case you have just i little bit of interpretation.

I post 2 Pictures and i wanna ask if all of the setups are right or not.

I scanned the AUDUSD for today

Hey, sorry you seem to have took offence. None was intended.

But the examples are actually your very own from the opening post - nothing other than that at all - just added my own comments for further understanding.

I have specifically paying attention and been focusing on your examples throughout the thread and looking at them myself to better understand your logic and method and thus apply it for myself like everyone else.

Not sure at all why you find the need to dislike the post, but hey its your thread.

Pattern spotted at the UJ M15. Didn't specifically look for an accumulation in the M15 chart because (quoting FXCyborg) "15 min and upwards. DO NOT require an accumulation." & "Because the 15 Min bar is a composition of 1 and 5 min bars COMPRESSED into a higher one. "

I think that I'm trading against the trend that I see in this M15 chart, but we'll see how it plays out anyway.

As always, any input or criticism is appreciated.

Thanks and good trading everyone!

Here is a nice Buy set up for from today's USDCHF M5 chart. We are in an up trend and you can clearly see the accumulation zone prior to the set up, then the 2 touch backs for the Buys.

Dear Traders

I really like this trading method, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong somewhere.

Is this a valid trade setup( marked with a check sign)? The reason I'm not so so sure is that price broke out area marked with eclipse and made low of the day. Now we have two bear candles and bullish engulfying candle ( marked with check sign), where I think the setup has cpmpleted and prices comes back to test that area, which is our long entry, marked with UP arrow. Is that correct?

Take profit, is where the structural high needs to be, marked with horizontal named "Take profit". I usually use fractals, to guide me when price has turned ( round red and white dots on top and bottom of candles respectively). How can we define what a structural high is? Have I identified it correctly in this instance?

Please clarify it for me please FXCyborg or someone who is experienced with this method.

Kind regards

Abzozo
